UNP MP Ranjan Ramanayake is currently at the Government Analyst's Department to give voice samples in relation to the Police investigation into his leaked telephone conversations.

Ramanayaka was escorted to the Department by prison officers under security measures.

It is reported that the Police are in possession of over 120000 telephone conversations recorded by the UNP Parliamentarian.

The conversations have been handed over to the Government Analyst's Department following directions from the Nugegoda Magistrate.

Ramanayake. however, has not challenged the authenticity of the leaked telephone conversations which have sparked a major controversy.

The Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) is conducting investigations into Ramanayake's telephone conversations.
