Health Services Director General Anil Jasinghe said 15 patients were undergoing treatment in Sri Lankan hospitals with suspected coronavirus symptoms.

However, none of these cases has been confirmed by national health authorities as those infected with the coronavirus, Health Services Director General Anil Jasinghe said.

They are currently being treated at IDH, Kandy, Negombo, Ragama, Kurunegala and Badulla hospitals.

The Chinese national who was being treated at IDH hospital has been discharged after fully recovering from the illness.
