UNP Deputy Leader Sajith Premadasa will hold a meeting with United National Front party leaders tonight in a bid to secure their support for this presidential bid.

Tamil Progressive Alliance Leader Minster Mano Ganesan confirmed on social media that they have been asked to come for a meeting with Premadasa.The meeting is expected to take place at the residence of Finance Minister Mangala Samaraweera, a supporter of Premadasa.

At a discussion held at Temple Trees earlier this week, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe challenged Premadasa to secure the support of UNF party leaders before lobbying for the presidential candidacy.

However, it is learnt that UNF party leaders are in favour of Speaker Jayasuriya as the UNF candidate.
