Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe assures to equip Sri Lanka Customs with new technology.
He said new scanning machines would be installed within first three months of next year.
Such activities would prevent any corrupt acts and expedite import and export activities.
The Prime Minister was speaking at an appointment to hand over appointment letters to more than 100 Assistant Customs Superintendents.
A total of 109 officers were selected through a competitive exam.
