The government promised to grant Sri Lankan Citizenship to Kumar Gunaratnam, the Leader of Frontline Socialist Party. 

Co-spokesman of Cabinet Minister Rajitha Senaratna told media that necessary actions will be taken once Mr. Gunaratnam submits his application for the Citizenship.

Minister was speaking at a press briefing held yesterday at Colombo.
