Justice Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe responded to the claim by Dr. Rajitha Senaratne that his report on the Sri Lankans in ISIS was wrong, by saying that the people can decide as to who was telling the truth.

Speaking with a local TV channel, Rajapakshe pointed out that contradictory statements can come from different members in government since the present government was a national government.

However, the people should understand the authenticity of such statements, he added.

He did not comment on the claim by Rajitha Senaratne that the President informed Senaratne to let the media know that the report about the ISIS members was wrong.

The government keeps on denying that there is a threat from the ISIS to Sri Lanka.
