UNP National List MP Sandith Samarasinghe was hospitalized following a brawl in Parliament a short while ago.

He was admitted to the National Hospital after being attacked by the Opposition MPs.

The Parliament was suspended for five minutes after a brawl broke out inside the Chamber after a heated debate on the reduction of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa's security.

Joint Opposition MPs shouted slogans against the reduction of Rajapaksa's security when Minister Sarath Fonseka started to speak.
