The Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) has decided to table several reports this month, revealing persons who misappropriated money of Ceylon Electricity Board and Sri Lankan Airlines.

Chairman of COPE, JVP MP Sunil Handunnetti said that the Speaker will be recommended that CID and Bribery Commission must begin investigations on the massive financial frauds and prosecute the perpetrators.

High authority figures of CEB and Sri Lankan Airlines are behind the financial misappropriations and they were backed by politicians, Handunnetti added.
