Three persons have been found shot dead at Tirappane in Anuradhapura, the police said this evening.

The bodies were found inside a vehicle

The shooting is believed to have had occurred this afternoon. The victims had sustained multiple gunshot wounds, police also said.

Tirappane Police is conducting further investigations.
