A group of people from Rozella near Watawala held a protest today demanding they be provided with a drinking water scheme.
These people from a village of about 75 families say that they have been promised a water scheme on number of times.
They collect drinking water from streams arising from the nearby mountains, the people said. These streams have dried up due to the prevailing dry weather.
Watawala, located in the Central Highlands, is considered to be the country's wettest region.
