CEB Engineers Association says that the people should be made aware of the power crisis in the country and a scheduled power cut should be introduced.

Speaking to local media, its Chairman Athula Wanniarachchi said that the current situation calls for such measures as water levels in many reservoirs are also falling.

Meanwhile, electricity consumption has also increased due to the prevailing dry weather conditions.
