Sicille Kotelawala, wife of former Ceylinco Group Chairman Lalith Kotelawala, was released on bail today by the Court of Appeals over the Golden Key case.

Appeal courts ordered her release on a cash bail of Rs. 100,000 and two sureties amounting to Rs 1 million each, after considering her appeal against the Colombo High Court decision to remand her until April 27.

However, her passport was ordered to be kept under the custody of the Colombo High Court.

Sicille Kotelawala is the sixth accused of the Golden Key financial misappropriation case.
