Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe said that the government will solve the primary issue of the country through the introduction of a new constitution.

He made this observation at the National Convention of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress held today at Palamunai.

President Maithripala Sirisena and Opposition Leader R. Sampanthan also took part in the convention.

Addressing the convention, President Sirisena said that no one can stop the movement that started last year to restore democracy and freedom in Sri Lanka.
