Former Minister Mervyn Silva said that he never criticized the Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

He made this observation at a press conference held at his residence in Narahenpita.

“I always criticized Basil Rajapaksa who misappropriated national wealth and Gotabaya Rajapaksa who murdered people with white van culture. Former President is a respectable person”, Silva said.

He further stated that the rally staged by the ‘joint opposition’ recently a success. However, the Prime Minister should be allowed to continue governing the country, Silva said.
