Pakistani Women's opener Javeria Khan was hit on the head during the World T20 Women's encounter against West Indies by a Shamilia Connell bouncer, and was stretchered off.

The incident occurred in the first over of the Pakistani innings.

Wisden India journalist Himanish Bhattacharjee later tweeted that Javeria had been taken to hospital for a precautionary CT scan, but was "OK", said BBC.

West Indies won the game by 4 runs.
