Remains of Sumith Prasanna Jayawardena, who died in a clash between the police and civilians was exhumed today morning before Embilipitiya Magistrate Prasanna Fernando.

Jayawardena’s mother and brother recognized the remains.

Judicial medical officers and the police was present at the exhumation.
