Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa today slammed the government mis-management which caused the island-wide power cuts and rejected claims of conspiracy and sabotage.
Speaking to the media after the hearing of Yoshitha Rajapaksa's bail application, the former President said that the government was making ludicrous claims to hide their faults.
"Some people are claiming on Facebook that I hid electricity under a pit at my home," Rajaaksa said.
He also said that professionals should not be blamed for what happened. Professionals do not destroy their places of work, Rajapaksa added.
