The funeral of Mahanayake of the Asgiriya Chapter in Siyam Nikaya Galagama Attadassi Thera is held in Kandy with full state honors.

The Mahanayake Thera passed away on March 9 at the age of 95.

He was appointed to the post of Mahanayake in May 2015. Attadassi Thera was the 21st Mahanayake of the Siyam Nikaya.
