Two individuals who were arrested for the brutal killing of an eagle were remanded till March 24 by Galle Additional Magistrate Kesara Samaradiwakara.

They two individuals, Kaluwahandige Sisira and Peththadurage Chaminda Kumara, were arrested yesterday based on the pictures posted on Facebook by another individual.

Police stated that investigations are being held to arrest other suspects who have already fled the area.
