Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak arrived in Sri Lanka today on a five-day official visit.

Jatusripitak is to lead an official delegation of high-level public and private-sector representatives to Sri Lanka from Tuesday until Saturday.

Thai Commerce Minister Apiradi Tantraporn earlier said a meeting of economic ministers of the two countries would be held during the visit, which has the objective of boosting trade and investment cooperation between Thailand and Sri Lanka.
