Embilipitiya Magistrate's Court today ordered for the exhumation of the body of Sumith Prasanna Jayawardena on March 10.

He died several days after a clash with the Embilipitiya police on the night of January 4.

The order was made considering a request made from the court that a post-mortem be performed once again in order to further clarify the verdict given in the previous JMO report.

Meanwhile, former Embilipitiya ASP D.W.C. Dharmaratne was further remanded until March 10 over the death.
