The police has taken legal action against both parties who protested in front of the Temple of the Tooth on last 19th.

Kandy Magistrate’s Court has already been informed about parties who acted violent at protests, police reported.  

However, the Joint Committee to Protect Sri Dalada Maligawa accused the police of acting biased.
