One person succumbed to his injuries following a shooting at Kirimatiya, Nayigala in Weeraketiya this morning.

Two persons on a van were shot by an unidentified gunman who arrived on a car and a by stander was also injured.

The two people who were in the van were said to be witnesses in a murder trial. The driver of the van succumbed to the injuries after being admitted to hospital.
