New Zealand Prime Minister John Key called on Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena this morning in Colombo.
The two leaders initiated bilateral talks following the official welcome at the Presidential Secretariat.
Following bilateral talks, the two countries will sign several bilateral agreements.
Key arrived in Sri Lanka last night on board Flight SQ 468 and was welcomed by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe. This is Key's first bilateral visit to Sri Lanka, although he has visited the country in 2013 for the CHOGM.
