The Fundamental Rights petition filed by former Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa was considered before the Supreme Court yesterday.
The petition was fixed for support on March 28.
Through his petition, Rajapaksa informs that B reports have been filed on investigations by the FCID in Gampaha, Pugoda, Matara and Kaduwela Magistrate Courts and there was an attempt to arrest him under the Money Laundering Act.
However, the B reports have been filed misrepresenting the facts, Rajapaksa states.
The IGP, DIF of FCID, Anti-corruption Committee Director Ananda Wijepala, the Attorney General are among the respondents named in the case.
