The government is acting as if it was recreating a scene from the movie 'Jurassic Park' regarding the case of Frontline Socialist Party Central Committee Member Kumar Gunaratnam, the leader of Nava Sama Samaja Party Dr. Wickremabahu Karunaratne said.

Speaking to the media yesterday at the site of the Satyagraha Campaign for the release of Gunaratnam near Fort Railway Station, Karunaratne said that Gunaratnam is not given a chance to speak and is brought to the court under heave armed presence, similar to the way in which an animal is brought in the movie 'Jurassic Park'.

He called for the immediate release of Gunaratnam and other political prisoners.

The Satyagraha Campaign completed its 100th day yesterday. Gunaratnam was arrested on alleged violation of immigration laws on November 4, 2015.
