The Combined Association of Unemployed Graduates will lodge a complaint with the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka tomorrow, over the police attack on a protest earlier this week.
The association organized a protest on February 16, demanding the government to provide them employment. There are 32,000 vacancies in the public sector that could be filled, the association claimed.
The police dispered the protest with tear gas and water cannons near the Presidential Secretariat.
The association said that three of its members were 'arbitrarily arrested' by the police.
