The four monks who were remanded yesterday over the protest at Homagama Magistrate's Court last month are to be produced for an identification parade today.

Ravana Balaya Convener Ittakande Saddhatissa Thera, Sihala Ravaya Chairman Akmeemana Dayarathana Thera and two other monks who surrendered to Homagama Police yesterday were remanded till today by the Homagama Magistrate.

They were wanted over the recent protest near the Homagama Magistrate's Court and turned themselves in yesterday.

A protest broke out on January 26 near the Homagama Magistrate's Court following the decision to remand Bodu Bala Sena General Secretary Galagodaatte Gnanasara Thera.

The BBS General Secretary will also be produced to the court today.
