Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa told his elder son and UPFA MP Namal Rajapaksa to be prepared to be arrested within this week.

Speaking at the meeting of SLFP pro-Rajapaksa local councilors at Negombo on Sunday, Rajapaksa said that questions are being raised on someone in Parliament just prior to his arrest.

There were questions about Namal in Parliament last week, Rajapaksa recalled. Thereafter, looking at his son in the audience, the former President told him to be ready for prison.
