Sri Lanka's Thisara Perera got a hat-trick in the 19th over of the second T20 match in Ranchi against the Indian side, slowing down India's push for a possible 200 runs in their innings.
India started the innings well in a dry batting track, with openers Shikar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma putting on 75 in just 7 overs. India were 186 for 3 in 18.3 overs and Perera had figures of none for 33 in 2.3 overs. However, the next three deliveries saw Hardik Pandya, Suresh Raina and Yuvraj Singhe all back in pavilion as India were reduced to 186 for 6.
India ended the innings at 196 for 6 in 20 overs.
