A number of professional associations, representing doctors, engineers, IT professionals and others joined a large demonstration and a rally against the proposed Indo-Lanka ETCA in Colombo today.

A protest march was held around the Viharamahadevi Park and was followed by a rally at the Viharamahadevi Open Air Theatre.
