Bodu Bala Sena General Secretary Galagodaatte Gnanasara Thera was remanded till February 16 by the Homagama Magistrate's Court, for allegedly threatening Sandhya Eknaligoda, wife of missing journalist Prageeth Eknaligoda.

He was remanded till today when he was produced before the Magistrate on the same charge.

Meanwhile, the Magistrate released him on bail yesterday over several other charges including contempt of court.
