United Nations High Commissioner Zaid Ra’ad Al Hussein called on the Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe at Temple Trees this morning.

Al Hussein and Wickremesinghe discussed the challenges faced by the country in promoting human rights.

Al Hussein arrived in Sri Lanka on 6th February for a four-day official visit. He will be in the island till 10th February.

Al Hussein visited Jaffna, Trincomalee, and Kandy during his stay in the island.
