Fort Magistrate Priyantha Liyanage today ordered former Ceylinco Chairman Lalith Kotelawala's wife Sicille Kotelawala to be transferred to the Colombo National Hospital.

She was also remanded till February 23 and transferred to the prisons custody from CID detention.

Sicille Kotelawala was being treated at the Durdans Hospital after her arrival in the island recently.

Filing a report to the Colombo Chief Magistrate yesterday, the Durdans Hospital said that she could be transferred to the National Hospital. The Chief Magistrate directed to take the decision today since the hearing on the Ceylinco Sriram case was scheduled to be taken up at the Fort Magistrate's Court this morning.

Meanwhile, the Colombo JMO also filed a report today saying that Kotelawala can be transferred to the National Hospital.

The defence lawyers also said that they are not opposing the move.
