A woman carrying 3o-million rupees worth gold biscuits was arrested near the Chavakachcheri railway station, Jaffna Police said.

The woman had been planning to take the gold to India from Jaffna, Police stated.

The raid was carried out on a tip received by the Jaffna Intelligence Unit.
