Information Technology-based employment opportunities will be produced for school dropouts and students who fail to enter university, Minister of Telecommunication and Digital Infrastructure Harin Fernando said.

Fernando made this observation today, at a press conference held at Information & Communication Technology Centre.

“A country should be developed in a proper manner. A country cannot be developed with loans. Specific policies and plans are needed”, Fernando said.

He further said that it has been proposed to construct four Information Technology cities in Colombo, Kandy, Galle, and Jaffna.
