Sinhala Ravaya General Secretary Magalkande Sudatta Thera and Badalkumbure Ariyawansha Thera were remanded till February 9 by Homagama Magistrate after they were produced at the court by Homagama Police.

They surrendered earlier in the day to the Homagama Police, regarding the protest at Homagama Magistrate's Court on January 26.

The protest near the court occurred after Bodu Bala Sena General Secretary Galagodaatte Gnanasara Thera was remanded over several charges on January 26.
