UPFA MP Dinesh Gunawardena slammed the arrest of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa's second son Yoshitha Rajapaksa, and said that the 'Joint Opposition' would boycott state functions.
Speaking at a press conference today, Gunawardena said that the 'Joint Opposition' had always insisted on the illegal manner in which the police Financial Crimes Investigation Division was established.
However, the Speaker does not allow their opposition to be heard in Parliament, he added.
Speaking further, Gunawardena said that the 'Joint Opposition' will boycott state functions until the prevailing state of affairs are not changed.
