Homagama Magistrate Ranga Dissanayake ordered the arrest of those who behaved in a violent manner near the court premises yesterday and produce them before court on February 9.

A tense situation erupted yesterday near the court premises after Bodu Bala Sena General Secretary Galagodaatta Gnanasara Thera was remanded till February 9 on three charges including contempt of court. Protests went on till the afternoon before the STF was called in.

The STF was deployed in the area this morning as well.
