A charge sheet was delivered to the Principal of Bandaranaike College, Gampaha, on collection of money in violation of circulars, Education Ministry sources said.

He has been accused of accepting an allowance from the School Development Society and charging Rs 2000 each from students through 'class room circle' meetings.

The principal has been ordered to give explanation within two weeks, Ministry sources also said.
