Slight seismic tremors were experienced in areas of Nawakkiri in Puttur, Jaffna today early morning around 2.45am.

The Disaster Risk Management Centre officials said that the tremors have caused by the collapse of underground limestone.

Cracks were seen in houses and small buildings, residents complained.
