The seating arrangements at the Parliament have been changed according to the seniority of the MPs.

Some MPs of the national government have been assigned seats at the back row of the opposition.

Several senior SLFP MPs who joined the national government have been assigned front row seats on the government side. Meanwhile, Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka has been also assigned a front seat.

Meanwhile, former President Mahinda Rajapaksa will be given a seat near Opposition Leader R. Sampanthan.
