The Negombo Magistrate’s Court issued notice on UNP Gampaha District MP Chathura Senaratne to appear before courts on October 20 for allegedly threatening a group of individuals in custody at the Ragama Police Station.

Three persons were recently admitted to the Ragama Hospital following a clash between supporters of UNP MPs Dr. Kavinda Jayawardena and Chathura Senaratne.

Police arrested 5 persons in connection with incident.

On Tuesday (15) morning Senaratne arrived at the police station and allegedly threatened the individuals under arrest.
