Traffic was reported in all entry roads to Colombo following heavy rains in the capital city and other parts of Western Province.

Some roads in the city were also flooded.

Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department said that showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Western Province and in the Kegalle District during the day.
