The Cabinet of Ministers will be sworn-in today at mid-day at the Presidential Secretariat, UNP MP Ravi Karunanayake told Asian Mirror.

He added that only the Cabinet Ministers will be sworn in at this function.

The Parliament gave approval to a Cabinet of 48 ministers yesterday. Meanwhile, there will be 45 State and Deputy Ministers.

Several new faces are expected in the Cabinet including UNP National Organizer Daya Gamage, Harin Fernando and Tilak Marapana. Several SLFP seniors are also to receive Cabinet Ministerial portfolios.
