Former Minister Kanchana Wijesekara has reportedly been nominated to fill the remaining National List slot of the National Democratic Front (NDF),  Asian Mirror learns.

It is understood that Wijesekara’s nomination was proposed during a meeting held this morning at the Flower Road office in Colombo 07.

However, the NDF has yet to officially send a letter confirming his appointment as the National List MP.
