Former Defence Secreatry Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, and several others were summoned to the Presidential Commission of Inquiry this morning.

Those who were summoned included former MP Duminda Silva and Dehiwela-Mount Lavinia Mayor Danasiri Amaratunga.

This is the third day that Rajapaksa was summoned to the Commission. Rajapaksa, Amaratunga, Silva and several others were summoned yesterday also.

They were summoned in order to record statements over several allegations including that of using the staff of Rakna Arakshaka Lanka Ltd for election campaign during the last presidential election.
