The World Cup winning Sri Lankan cricket team will return to the country tomorrow (08) at 4 pm, an official of Sri Lanka Cricket told 'Asian Mirror'.
The team will be felicitated upon arrival and will be taken in an open bus to SLC Headquarters in Colombo 07, along the old Colombo-Negombo road.

The SLC also requests the public to gather alongside the road and express the country's gratitude to the World Cup winning cricket team.
The SLC has also announced that it will provide a bonus of $1 million to the Lankan players for winning the T20 World Cup. The sources also said that the cricket team would meet President Mahinda Rajapaksa with their trophy.
President Rajapaksa watched the finals from Hikkaduwa yesterday and extended his wishes to the cricket team after victory last night via telephone.
Although the Sri Lankan team qualified for finals in ICC championships on four occasions prior to this, they never managed to win the trophy and end the tournament on a high note.
This victory comes 18 years after the team led by Arjuna Ranatunga won the Cricket World Cup in 1996.
