Four monks including the Secretary of the Bodu Bala Sena Ven. Galabodaaththe Gnansara were aquitted by the Colombo High Court for charges of attacking and damaging a Calvary church in Thalahena, Malabe. 

The Calvary Church was destroyed after a rumour spread that Christians had attacked a local Buddhist temple. A mob of some 500 villagers had swooped on the church and surrounded it as Sunday service was about to take place on July 06, last year. 

The case was taken for hearing at Colombo High Court today and BBS General Secretary Galagodaaththe Gnanasara Thera was also among the respondents.
