The Meteorology Department says that showers or thundershowers will occur at several locations across the island, particularly in the Central, Sabaragamuwa, Uva, Southern, and Western provinces, during the evening or night.

Fairly heavy showers, exceeding 50mm, are expected at some places, while light showers may occur in the Northern and North-western provinces. Additionally, misty conditions are anticipated in parts of the Western, Sabaragamuwa, and Central provinces, as well as in the Galle and Matara districts, during the morning hours.
